With time we will see how this product helps our granddaughter
My grand daughter is in speech therapy to learn which device will be most useful for her. The tiny talker has basic but common words, is lightweight, clear sounding and easy for her to hold. I was so happy to find this. I thought it would just be good to try as that is the direction we are having to go but it takes 6 months if not longer to get the proper device for her. This will be good for her to get familiar with.
We love it, it's been difficult trying to teach him to us it bit, he's 3 years old any I'm 100% confident he'll learn and understand in his own time! Thank you, Sensacalm for giving me the hope that one day he will be able to communicate more with others and not depend on me having to reading his little cues and body language an interpret his wants and needs to the rest of our family!!
Hi Melissa, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we love hearing from our customers. We are so happy that the tiny talker is helping your 3-year old communicate.
This is a great basic communication device that does not need to be charged and has no screen to break. It is similar to the voice output devices you see attached to toddler books, but is smaller. I would give this five stars if it were closer to the size that are usually attached to books, which is what I was anticipating. I wish it were bigger. This is nice to take places where an IPad is too awkward. You can just throw it in your purse! My son has broken the screen to his IPad 5 times. This will be convenient to use while I am fixing/replacing a broken IPad. If he continues to break them often, we may switch permanently to the Tiny Talker.
Like it very much. Our nonverbal child seems interested. Lightweight and easy to use. Great simple communication.
